Getting to know Lara Swanson

Raised in suburban Chicago, Lara and her family moved to North Carolina in 2003 after having lived in Alexandria, Virginia and Naperville, Illinois. Her career includes positions in healthcare, academia and politics. Presently she works with State Representative Ty Harrell. Lara is a Valparaiso University alumna and holds graduate degrees from the University of Illinois and Benedictine University.

She lives with her husband and daughter in Raleigh.
